Made me cry.

My grief is losing almost everything short of an actual life. Home, health, possessions, and our community. I’m so thankful death wasn’t a part of this chapter. Still, we came close to it (both me and my newborn daughter). It’s been a year since we shifted into the direction of recovery. You’re right — it’s a long road.
